An Cuan (The Harbour)

A generous rectangular board with a gently arched top and a centre hanging hole. Pale oak and ash alternate with rich red stripes and a golden middle band. Broad and sturdy enough for a full spread or daily chopping.

Each Rua board is handmade, so the grain, colour and shape of the one you receive are unique. Hand wash with warm soapy water and dry it straight away. Don’t soak it or put it in the dishwasher. Re-oil it now and then with a food-safe board oil to keep it looking its best.
